certifications is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager . Machining and Manufacturing Engineering experience is a must. The ideal candidate must have managerial experience with excellent communication skills, should be detail oriented and able to read SolidWorks / CAD drawings.

  • responsible for new and or revised product designs, manufacturing cost analysis, and technical development for new capital machinery products and technologies using successful interaction with vendors, internal team members, and customers.
This high-energy individual leverages effective teamwork, negotiation skills, and sound judgment to translate marketing requirements into product specifications and technical solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, an orientation toward details, and analytical problem-solving skills are a must.
Specific Overall Responsibilities Include:
The design of components to be manufactured via machining, sheet metal bending/rolling, welding, CNC machining and other related processes using Autodesk Inventor CAD models and drawings Ensure designs meet product specifications, regulatory requirements, and international standards Create and release product Bills of Materials Participate in Design and Drawing Reviews Develop product requirements and specification documents Develop project schedules and budgets Perform and document Root Cause Analyses and Corrective Action Plans Grow and maintain engineering knowledge base and department Discuss with customers, (as needed) to troubleshoot issues and ensure programs meet deadlines Work with suppliers to ensure components meet design requirements & diagnose design problems. Deliver presentations on technical findings and project status to cross functional teams and management Lead, mentor, develop and manage the work of other Mechanical Engineers and CAD Designers Contribute to Engineering process development Comply with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates Consult with vendors, customers, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues Work with customers and staff to produce acceptable quotations Secure vendors for specialized services, obtain costs and lead time for all outside process to support bid preparation
Required Education:
B.S. in
Engineering Experience and Background:
5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with BS in Engineering Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with high level of autonomy Advanced technical writing and documentation skills Ability to analyze complex data Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies & strong desire to lead and grow the Engineering Team Advanced problem-solving skills A high degree of initiative and self-motivation Experience in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation, preferably using Autodesk Inventor Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to achieve results with minimal direction. Ability to read and clearly understand engineering drawings Proficient computer skills, MS Office, especially Excel Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Must be a team player Good interaction with the production team and management Act as liaison between customer, engineers, subcontractors, internal production, and sales team.
