(JLL) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead building engineering operations across a commercial real estate portfolio. In this performance-driven, client-focused role, you will manage technical teams, oversee building systems, and drive reliability, safety, and sustainability. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, capital planning, vendor management, and budget oversight, while partnering closely with property and project management. You will leverage data and technology to optimize asset performance and support a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities Lead and mentor building engineering teams across assigned real estate assets. Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety). Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime. Manage capital and operating budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives. Coordinate with property management, project management, and leasing teams to support client needs. Select, oversee, and evaluate external vendors and contractors for technical services. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and technology-enabled building solutions. Monitor portfolio performance using data, KPIs, and reporting to clients and leadership. Support continuous improvement, standardization of procedures, and best practices across sites.
