We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead customer quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related matters and works closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards. What You'll Do Lead customer quality relationships and serve as the main quality contact for customers. Manage customer complaints and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D process). Support new product launches through APQP activities, PFMEA reviews, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions. Monitor customer scorecards, PPM performance, warranty claims, and quality metrics. Coordinate customer audits and quality assessments. Lead, coach, and develop members of the quality team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional problem-solving efforts. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IATF 16949 standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement improvement plans. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve quality and business objectives. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and customer quality requirements. Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of product compliance standards such as RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma training or certification. Experience managing customer quality metrics, SCARs, and RMAs. Experience in a manufacturing environment serving automotive, industrial, or electronic customers. Work Environment Onsite position in a manufacturing facility. Frequent interaction with customers. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $85k-$95k. Actual compensation decisions are dependent on the minimum requirements outlined in the job description, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, external market conditions, as well as internal equity.
