Senior Project Manager - Electrical | Data Center | Childress, TX Senior Project Manager wanted for data center electrical power delivery, from switchgear and UPS systems to generators and distribution. The package includes base, +20% TAP, bonus, free housing, per diem and ESOP. Most PM roles want you to run more for the same money. This one adds 20% Travel Assignment Pay (TAP) on top of your base salary , plus bonus potential on top of that. We're hiring a Senior Project Manager for a major data centre build in Childress, Texas, with one of the largest electrical contractors in the US . They're an employee-owned company with a large backlog of projects across the country. The project has already started, so this role is being filled now. First, check this role is for you This role is for electrical PMs with real medium-voltage and critical power experience . If your background is mainly low-voltage/technology or utility high-voltage transmission, this one isn't the right fit, and we'd rather tell you now. If you've managed MV distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, ATS and PDUs on a data centre or mission-critical job, read on. What you'll be doing Running the electrical scope on a large-scale data center, on site, from start to energisation Owning the critical power installation: MV gear, UPS, generators, busway and distribution Controlling cost, forecasting and change management, so the numbers are your call Leading foremen, field teams and subcontractors, and managing the GC and owner relationship Delivering alongside a high-performing team that expects ownership What gets you hired PM or Senior PM experience with an electrical contractor Data centre or mission-critical construction experience ( essential ) Hands-on medium-voltage and UPS/critical power delivery ( essential ) Strong construction management: you run projects in the field, not from a spreadsheet Confident with budgets, cost reports and forecasts A leader people want to work for: clear, accountable and good with relationships How your package stacks up Competitive base salary + 20% Travel Assignment Pay (TAP) paid on top of your base for the length of the project
