ENGINEERING PROJECT TEAM LEADER

Coppell, Texas | U.S.-Based Candidates ️ Electrical Engineering | Design-Build | Preconstruction | Leadership Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the lead on complex engineering projects while developing and mentoring a talented technical team? I'm recruiting for an Engineering Project Team Leader to join a leading, employee-owned electrical contractor delivering high-profile projects across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong electrical design expertise with engineering leadership, project financial management, and a practical understanding of construction.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading and mentoring teams of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and BIM/Modeling professionals. Overseeing electrical engineering design from early project development through delivery. Developing design fees, project budgets, resource plans, and engineering schedules. Managing technical deliverables, project scope, and design changes. Collaborating with Project Managers, clients, and design-build teams. Overseeing electrical power distribution designs, system studies, and code compliance. Providing technical leadership, resolving complex design challenges, and supporting value engineering.

What We're Looking For:

Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license - REQUIRED. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Approximately 8+ years of relevant engineering experience. Strong background in electrical design, power distribution, and construction. Experience managing engineering teams, budgets, resources, and project deliverables. Knowledge of short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and other electrical system studies. Experience with design-build or preconstruction engineering projects.
