About the Role As a Senior Construction Lead for infrastructure projects, you will direct the lifecycle of complex civil works from initial planning through final delivery. You will serve as the central authority for project execution, ensuring that safety, financial performance, and technical quality standards are consistently exceeded. Responsibilities Direct all project phases to ensure delivery remains on schedule and within fiscal constraints. Utilize Primavera P6 and MS Project to manage critical path schedules and optimize resource allocation. Lead multidisciplinary teams, including field supervisors and subcontractors, to maintain alignment with project objectives. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure seamless project continuity. Manage contract administration, including the negotiation of change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Oversee financial health through rigorous cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management. Cultivate strong partnerships with owners, engineering firms, and local agencies to facilitate project success. Mentor project staff to foster a culture of professional growth, accountability, and high-performance execution. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in large-scale heavy civil or highway construction. Demonstrated expertise in managing projects from pre-construction through final closeout. Proven leadership background with at least 5 years of direct supervisory experience. Advanced proficiency in project management software and financial reporting systems. Comprehensive knowledge of grading, drainage, structural work, and paving methods. Preferred Skills Specific experience with roadway and bridge infrastructure projects. Familiarity with state-level DOT regulations and environmental compliance standards. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful vendor and subcontractor management.
