What you'll be doing You'll help lead the planning effort for a major refinery turnaround, serving as a trusted partner to turnaround leadership. Your focus will be building executable scope, improving planning quality, and keeping Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Contractors aligned long before execution begins. Lead turnaround scope development, validation, and field verification. Review planning packages and mentor planners to improve work quality. Develop cost estimates and planning assumptions for budgeting. Facilitate Core Team meetings and drive cross-functional alignment. Support constructability reviews and identify schedule and execution risks. Coordinate bid packages, contractor walkthroughs, and procurement activities. Integrate capital projects into turnaround scope while supporting safe, efficient execution. What you get This onsite opportunity in Superior, Wisconsin offers $65-75/hour , a one-year contract with extension potential , and $178/day per diem for qualified non-local candidates. You'll work a standard 40-hour week during planning before transitioning to an execution schedule during the turnaround. More importantly, you'll have a seat at the table helping shape the turnaround strategy, not simply executing someone else's plan. Who you are You're more than an experienced planner. You're someone who's led planning teams, challenged scope, facilitated difficult conversations, and earned the trust of Operations and Maintenance. You have a strong mechanical turnaround background, understand refinery work, and know how to balance cost, risk, and execution.
