Job Description

Job Overview PuroClean of Covington, La is in search of dynamic and experienced Restoration Team Lead to oversee and coordinate restoration projects involving water damage, fire, mold, and flood emergencies. In this vital role, you will lead a team of technicians through all phases of restoration, ensuring high-quality service delivery while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Your leadership will drive efficient project completion, exceptional customer satisfaction, and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by restoring properties and lives after unexpected disasters. Duties Lead and supervise restoration crews during emergency response operations including water, fire, mold, and flood remediation projects. Coordinate project tasks such as cleaning, debris removal, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning with precision and efficiency. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adherence to safety protocols on every job site. Operate company vehicles safely to transport personnel and equipment to project sites while maintaining compliance with traffic laws. Utilize industry-standard tools such as hand tools, power tools, Xactimate estimating software, and other specialized equipment for project execution. Conduct quality control inspections throughout projects to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations. Maintain detailed documentation including job progress reports, safety logs, and project estimates using digital tools like Xactimate. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project scope, timelines, and safety procedures. Be on-call for emergency response coverage outside regular hours to support urgent restoration needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields with a strong understanding of fire restoration, water damage restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, hazard communication, and OSHA standards. Familiarity with construction techniques and the operation of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in restoration projects. Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members alike. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Ability to respond quickly to emergency calls at any time; flexibility for on-call coverage is essential. Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
