Job Duties :

Under close supervision, coordinate field operations for specific projects, execute site observations, and perform routine engineering computations based on established formulas. Make preliminary selections and recommendations of engineering alternatives for routine projects without unusual or difficult problems. Under close supervision of senior staff coordinate and execute field data collection using standardized procedures, exercise judgment as to the completeness and accuracy of the data. Make changes to the scope of exploration deemed necessary based on preliminary field data. Evaluate recovered samples or data and assign laboratory tests. Under close supervision, perform routine site observations during construction where approval or rejection of the work is based on a definite stated criteria or test result rather than subjective interpretation or judgment. Under close supervision, perform routine engineering computations for less complex projects based on established formulae using variables assigned by more senior staff. Prepare draft report sections or paragraphs under close supervision by senior staff. Perform site visits or assist in proposal preparation to a limited degree. Participate in local professional organizations and accompany more senior staff on client/project visits or meetings. Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related technical/engineering field. Must have a valid driver's license. Up to 35% U.S. domestic travel is required. Must have legal authority to work in the

U.S. EEOE.
