This is a real seat at the table — and a real shot at what comes next. Position Description Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station development in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth. You'll support the Maintenance Engineering team in developing and improving maintenance practices across Fervo's operating assets.

Requirements:

Responsibilities Support development of preventive maintenance plans and schedules Develop, facilitate and maintain asset criticality lists, FMEA's, RCAs, etc. Assist with reliability and failure analysis for key equipment Help maintain maintenance documentation and CMMS data Support cross-site coordination on maintenance best practices Required Qualifications Rising Junior, Senior, Master's candidate wrapping up within the next year — we're building a pipeline toward full-time offers Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges Enrolled in technical degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university Preferred Qualifications Candidates based in or near Milford, UT strongly preferred Interest in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field Interest in equipment reliability and maintenance strategy Demonstrated course or extracurricular work indicative of interest in Renewable Energy or Climate technology.
