Seeking a Building Automation Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, commissioning, and optimization of mechanical and building control systems for critical facility environments. Job Requirements Knowledge of mechanical and facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, building automation, and plumbing systems. Experience supporting the design and construction of cleanrooms, chiller plants, and compressed air plants. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. Experience with integrated building systems, including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management, alarming, lighting control, and facility access control. Experience with Tridium/Niagara or Siemens Building Automation Systems (BAS). Experience with facility commissioning, system testing, and functional performance verification. Preferred Skills Experience designing, configuring, or troubleshooting Building Automation Systems (BAS). Knowledge of HVAC controls, building management systems (BMS), and industrial control technologies. Experience with cleanroom environmental controls and critical facility monitoring systems. Familiarity with chiller plant automation, compressed air system controls, and energy management systems. Experience integrating multiple building systems into centralized monitoring and control platforms. Knowledge of building automation communication protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks. Experience with commissioning documentation, functional performance testing, and system validation. Job Responsibilities Support the design, installation, integration, and commissioning of building automation and mechanical control systems. Review engineering blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for facility systems. Support design/build projects involving cleanrooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants, and critical facility infrastructure. Configure, test, and troubleshoot building automation systems using Tridium/Niagara or Siemens BAS platforms. Integrate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems with building automation controls. Support temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management, and alarm systems. Assist with the integration of zoned lighting controls and facility access control systems. Perform facility commissioning activities, including functional testing, system verification, and performance assessments. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation system deficiencies. Verify building system functionality against engineering specifications and operational requirements. Review control sequences, system configurations, and commissioning documentation. Support system upgrades, operational improvements, and building automation optimization initiatives. Document commissioning results, system deficiencies, corrective actions, and final system performance.
