JOB SUMMARY
: Responsible for maintaining, repair and installing electrical needs, HVAC, plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment to ensure proper and safe operation of the resort and spa.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
: Complete mechanical preventive maintenance schedules; report any discrepancies to the Chief Engineer. Follow up on work orders and projects for completion. Responsible for responding to requests throughout the facility from guests, managers or Chief Engineer, and make the necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner to include: Plumbing repairs Replacing water, steam gas and drain piping Electrical repairs Responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures, and electrical equipment throughout the resort in working order. Responsible for maintaining all equipment and fixtures. Responsible for keeping equipment clean and maintained as needed. Chemical treatment is required to maintain these systems. Responsible for maintaining of all life safety equipment, sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers throughout the resort and spa to ensure proper working condition and fire protection is in compliance with OSHA and local codes. Responsible for maintaining maintenance standards according to Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. Responsible for maintaining the mechanical rooms in a safe environment and be sure everything is in safe working order. Responsible for maintaining filter replacement in guestrooms and common areas of the resort and spa. Responsible for reporting any safety needs to appropriate managers.
