In this vital role, you will oversee the permit application process for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Your expertise will facilitate smooth project workflows by managing permit submissions, tracking approvals, and coordinating with relevant authorities. Duties Prepare, submit, and track HVAC and plumbing permit applications across multiple jurisdictions to ensure timely approvals. Collaborate closely with project managers, home owners, and local authorities to facilitate permit acquisition and renewals. Maintain comprehensive records of permits, approvals, inspections, and related documentation Review plans and specifications to verify compliance with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC and plumbing systems. Coordinate inspection schedules with city or county agencies; ensure all inspections are completed on time and issues are addressed promptly. Assist in cost management by tracking permit-related expenses and ensuring adherence to project budgets through Excel data analysis. Support project coordination efforts by providing updates on permit statuses and facilitating communication among company and customers Experience Proven experience in construction project management or coordination within the construction industry, specifically involving HVAC and plumbing systems. Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel for tracking permits, costs, schedules, and project metrics. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple permits simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. Knowledge of local building codes related to HVAC and plumbing systems; familiarity with civil engineering standards is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, regulatory agencies, and clients; ability to coordinate inspections efficiently.
