The Role:

Senior Controls Engineer This is not your typical plant-floor PLC maintenance role. As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be a hybrid architect, splitting your time across three critical areas: R&D /

New Product Development:

Writing code from scratch for brand-new commercial refrigeration equipment and controllers.

Plant Support:

Completing set point files for equipment controllers, configuring controllers to manage specific equipment, and looking at existing control systems to identify process improvements.

Field & Customer Support:

Occasionally traveling (up to 25%) to customer sites or other plants to support the field service team with commissioning, startups, and answering complex customer controls questions.

Core Qualifications Experience & Education:

7+ years of controls engineering experience (if no degree, starting in manufacturing and working your way up is highly respected). OR 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree. OR 3+ years of experience with a Master's Degree (

Note:

If falling into the 3-5 year range, direct refrigeration controls experience is heavily required).

Technical Expertise:

Strong background in PLC programming and controls development from scratch.

Platform Knowledge:

Direct experience with Copeland (E2/E3) or Danfoss controllers is highly preferred. However, if you are an expert in standard PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and possess a baseline understanding of thermodynamics and refrigeration systems, the manager is fully willing to cross-train you.

Soft Skills:

Curious, highly analytical, and driven by continuous improvement. You must be able to look at a legacy system and instantly see how it can be optimized.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

Up to $130,000 - $140,000 (Dependent on Experience).

Bonus:

5% Annual Incentive Bonus. Sign-On /
