In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are rigorously maintained, and maintenance procedures are executed flawlessly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and manage the facilities maintenance team, including supervising technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices. Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other facility infrastructure. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders, and analyze equipment performance data for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and risk assessments. Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs from planning through execution while adhering to budgetary constraints. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety incidents for audit purposes. Coordinate with management on facilities management strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Requirements Proven management experience leading facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or large-scale environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Expertise in electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring; familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters is essential. Knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols across teams. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Experience managing facilities using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in managing diverse teams while fostering a safe work environment. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate diagnostics of electrical or mechanical issues. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for team coordination and reporting purposes.
