You will support the systems behind production—from HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, cooling towers, and compressed air to facility upgrades and construction projects. Support the maintenance, repair, reliability, and continuous improvement of facility equipment, machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
Help keep HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, boilers, cooling towers, chilled water, compressed air, and related systems operating safely and effectively.
Troubleshoot facility issues that could affect production and develop practical, lasting solutions.
Provide engineering support for equipment upgrades, replacements, new installations, and construction projects.
Coordinate project schedules, outages, and shutdown requirements with Operations, Maintenance, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions on time and within budget.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings and provide clear technical guidance to the Maintenance team.
Build cooperative relationships across the AmeriQual team and with customers, contractors, and vendors.
Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, safety, GMP, and company requirements. What You Bring
An associate degree in engineering or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Working knowledge of compressed air, boilers, cooling towers, chilled water, HVAC, and electrical distribution systems.
Basic AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, and project-management skills.
A results-driven, accountable approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Clear communication, leadership, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of current OSHA and safety standards.
Flexibility to support occasional off-shift, weekend, holiday, or extended-hour needs.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role combines office-based engineering work with regular time on the production floor in seasonal warehouse and food-processing conditions. Team members must be able to sit, stand, walk, communicate, use tools and standard office equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull objects, and work safely in, on, and around complex equipment. Close and distance vision, focus adjustment, and manual dexterity are required. Work is performed in a facility where nuts, fruits, and other allergens are present. Why AmeriQual?
