Industrial Engineering Manager Position Purpose The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for establishing and improving DMC's maintenance management system to enhance equipment reliability, improve manufacturing stability, and support continuous improvement activities. This position focuses on developing proactive maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance planning, equipment reliability improvement, maintenance standardization, and long-term maintenance strategy development. During the initial phase, this position will report directly to the Industrial Engineering Manager and focus on establishing the foundation of DMC's maintenance system. The role is expected to become a key position in strengthening the future Maintenance Engineering function.
Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance System Development
Establish a structured maintenance management system for DMC manufacturing equipment.
Develop preventive maintenance concepts, standards, procedures, and inspection methods.
Identify current gaps in maintenance practices and develop improvement plans.
Transition maintenance activities from reactive repair-based practices to proactive maintenance practices.
Establish standardized maintenance documentation and work processes.
2. Equipment Reliability Improvement
Analyze equipment failures and recurring issues.
Lead root cause analysis and develop permanent corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce production interruptions.
Develop reliability improvement plans for critical manufacturing equipment.
Support continuous improvement activities related to equipment performance.
3. Preventive Maintenance Planning
Develop preventive maintenance plans for production equipment.
Define maintenance requirements for critical equipment.
Establish inspection frequency, maintenance standards, and required resources.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with Production, Production Engineering, and other related departments.
Monitor effectiveness of maintenance activities and continuously improve maintenance processes.
4. New Equipment Maintenance Preparation
Support the handover process of new equipment from Production Engineering to Maintenance.
Establish maintenance requirements for newly installed equipment after equipment commissioning.
Define required maintenance procedures, spare parts requirements, and technical documentation.
Support reliability improvement of new manufacturing equipment, including paint systems and VLM equipment.
5. Spare Parts and External Maintenance Management
Establish appropriate spare parts management practices.
Identify critical spare parts requirements for production equipment.
Support improvement of spare parts availability and inventory control.
Establish guidelines for the effective utilization of external maintenance contractors.
6. Maintenance Team Development
Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
Develop standardized troubleshooting and maintenance methods.
Support skill development of maintenance technicians.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
