They will work together with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on capital improvement projects to optimize quality while keeping to a schedule and budget Knowledge of drafting standards and tolerances Experience with AutoCAD 2D layouts Experience with 3D modeling is a plus. Ability to create bid packages and work with outside vendors for RFQs Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering, Engineering Technology or related, and a working knowledge of foundation design Experience in a construction environment, and the ability to work with contractors preferred Work together with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on capital improvement projects to optimize quality while keeping to a schedule and budget The Facilities Civil Engineer must be project oriented and able to work well in a team environment Evaluate machinery layouts and design foundations based on requirements Design infrastructure support for machinery 3 years'+ experience preferred Exposure to manufacturing environments is a plus. Perform on-site surveys and update plant records and layouts as needed Possibility of 20% travel with 35% to 50% during periods of increased project work
