Job Description

Overview:

This is a hands-on boiler and central-plant operations position supporting a healthcare facility. The engineer will operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-pressure steam boilers, hot water boilers, pumps, valves, and other critical central plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boiler systems Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance Troubleshoot and repair burners, pumps, valves, feedwater, and condensate systems Inspect cooling towers, generators, motors, fire pumps, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and house pumps Conduct daily equipment rounds and maintain maintenance/operational logs Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures Respond to equipment failures, emergencies, and critical system outages Follow safety, environmental, and facility operating procedures Participate in rotating on-call coverage

Required Experience:

4+ years of commercial or industrial boiler operations and maintenance experience Hands-on experience with high-pressure steam boilers and hot water boilers Experience with steam systems, burners, feedwater and condensate systems Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with pumps, valves, cooling towers, and central plant equipment

Pay:

Up to $30.00 per hour
