We need an experienced Maintenance Engineer who can help make our places better in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, preventive maintenance, and make ready. Responsibilities Respond to tenant service requests Perform preventive maintenance, corrective and emergency repairs of buildings, systems, equipment and grounds Daily monitoring of building system operations and performance including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation of equipment Review assigned work orders Utilize several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors Complete maintenance and repair records as required Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed Perform other duties as assigned Computer and mobile app efficiency Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in a timely and routine manner Follow all company policies and procedures May coordinate work and assign tasks No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position Qualifications What does it take be successful at SCM? An ownership mentality ("We treat it like we own it.")
