Monday - Friday + on-call availability Reports to: Chief Strategy & Operations Partner About the Role We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our growing food manufacturing company. This is a key technical position responsible for keeping our automated production lines running smoothly, minimizing downtime, and supporting the expansion of our facilities. You will combine hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting with engineering tasks — including working with new equipment, PLC systems, and continuous improvement projects. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment (filling lines, mixers, pasteurizers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, etc.). Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues quickly to reduce downtime.
Work with automation systems:
PLC, HMI, VFDs, sensors. Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new production lines. Communicate with equipment manufacturers and vendors for technical support and spare parts. Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and documentation. Ensure all work complies with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. Provide technical support across all company facilities as needed. Requirements 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food or beverage manufacturing is a strong plus). Strong skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals. Experience with PLC/HMI troubleshooting is highly preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience. Basic English proficiency (Russian is a plus). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally within the US. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a production environment.
