Airswift is looking for a EHS Manager to work with one of our clients in Mansfield, TX. The Regional EHS Manager works with and advises project leadership and field personnel ensuring implementation of the company's Incident Free Workplace Culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compiles and maintains Health, Environmental, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with legislative and Company requirements Manages Company safety related employees and personnel Identifies safety related training requirements for all designated Regional employees Assists in implementing Company Global Best Practice / Best Known Methods Provides advice to Company management regarding EHS issues Assists Management with new work pursuits, including preparing safety prequalification and client presentations Assists Management with new project start up Assists in design and implementation of safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions, utilizing knowledge of engineering technology, industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, industrial health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices Supports and advises project management in the effective implementation of EHS policies and procedures Facilitate training as necessary Facilitates the Company objective of maintaining an "Incident Free Workplace", promoting safety awareness and ownership in the designated Region Maintains contact and coordinates with client safety organizations Develops project safety plans and specifications Ensures project management risk assessments and activity related hazards are completed Undertakes formal auditing of Company workplaces to gauge compliance with Company EHS policies and procedures. Audits for a successful safety culture Report on project KPIs Manage EHS document control
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional organization and coordination skills Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) Familiarity with digital platforms, ACC, DMCS, Avetta, ISN, Veriforce, Highwire etc.
Qualifications:
Education/License/Registration/Certification Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or an applied science field preferred Must have one of the following
Professional Certifications/License:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) Professional Engineer License (PE) Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) 10 - 15+ years of experience in EHS Construction Management 5+ years of experience in the project scop i.e., ATF, DTC, BLS Work Environment Primarily field-based construction environment. Exposure to noise, weather conditions, electrical hazards, and potentially hazardous equipment. Travel to project sites may be required. Physical Requirements Ability to walk active construction sites regularly. Ability to sit, stand, climb ladders, and navigate project environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision required. Experience Level Senior-level EHS leadership professional with extensive construction safety experience, ideally within large-scale industrial, advanced technology, or mission-critical projects.
