Essential Functions:

Review and analysis of the customer PO to assure compliance.

Requires collaboration and coordination with other functional groups as well as weekly progress updates to communicate status of open action items.

Assist cross functional teams in problem investigations.

Recommend more efficient and quality-oriented processes in support of continual improvement

Provide support to manufacturing including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems in product manufactured.

QA representative at meetings as required.

Facilitate customer corrective actions request(CAR) responses.

Data mining for trend analysis of defects and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

Assist with Annual Internal Audits and Product Process Audits to ensure compliance.

Assist in defining and monitoring the quality management system and in developing an organizational culture that stresses quality processes.

Perform other assignments as required.

Assist in monitoring personnel and processes to ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies and procedures.

Update area supervision regarding concerns.

Assist and support other special projects and tasks as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards.

Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required.

Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities.

Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired.

Intermediate level of computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project and MRP/ERP.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business.

Negotiation and conflict management skills together with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.

2 years experience in maintaining production and inventory control standards in a manufacturing setting.

Prior experience with ISO or AS environments a plus.
