Job Description

Join an Employee-Owned Company Voltage Multipliers, Inc. (VMI) is seeking a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations, customer applications, and process improvement initiatives. VMI is an employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) . As an employee-owner, you share in the long-term success of the company while helping drive innovation and operational excellence. This role works closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to improve manufacturing processes, support customers, and solve complex technical challenges. What You Will Do Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and improving processes. Work directly with customers and the sales team to understand technical requirements and develop reliable solutions. Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality. Research and implement new processes, equipment, and technologies . Create technical documentation and work instructions for manufacturing personnel. Train supervisors and production staff on new processes and engineering updates. Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions as needed. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to support production goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or similar) or equivalent experience. Strong technical problem-solving skills . Ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and production teams . Strong written technical communication skills . Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop practical solutions. Proficiency with standard engineering and computer software tools . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
