Key Responsibilities Create complex production drawings using CAD software, with a strong emphasis on 3D solid modeling Develop manufacturing sequence drawings in accordance with industry drafting and tolerance standards Create and maintain work instructions to support productivity and quality requirements Conduct tolerance studies to ensure manufacturability and process capability Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor teams to support production processes and improvements Provide guidance and support to technicians as needed Monitor and support productivity and quality performance; communicate updates to appropriate teams Prepare reports and documentation as required Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations Deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers and contribute to a team-oriented environment Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing engineering or machine shop experience Experience with CAD software required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Effective time management and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Frequent computer work requiring visual and mental focus Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting Frequent handling of tools and materials Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally (15-40%)
