Do:
Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps. Perform time studies to maintain standard timings used for operator productivity calculations, and to aid with staffing analyses. Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times. Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule. Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements. Conduct Process Flow and line balancing analysis and drive improvements. Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates. Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity. Identify and address safety concerns. Improving production facilities and equipment layouts. Provide information to management as the status of equipment, manpower, space and other elements affecting manufacturing. Identify needs for capital expenses and provide cost/benefit analysis and business need.
What You Will Bring:
4 year technical degree with 0-2 years prior relevant experience preferred or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant industrial engineering experience 0-2+ years of experience. LEAN manufacturing experience a plus. Experience with equipment and factory layouts is preferred. Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Pay Range:
$25/hour- $29/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located onsite in Rockford, IL. 1st
Shift Hours:
7am-3:30pm M-F (must be flexible to meet the needs of the customer) You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking and ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Travel requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
Citizenship requirement:
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
