Target Salary:
$70,000-90,000
Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options:
up to 15% annual bonus
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring supplier-provided materials meet quality standards and engineering requirements. This role focuses on resolving supplier issues, improving overall performance, and partnering with internal teams to strengthen supplier processes and capabilities.
Job Duties:
Review and approve PPAP submissions and define requirements as neededInvestigate supplier quality issues and lead root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5-WhyPartner with engineering, sourcing, and operations to improve supplier performanceConduct supplier audits and support corrective action implementationTrack and report supplier quality metricsSupport supplier development and cost recovery effortsEnsure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AAR)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field3-6 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineeringStrong understanding of production processes and quality systemsExperience working with suppliers and cross-functional teamsSolid communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systemsAbility to travel up to 50% Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
