Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is integral to optimizing production processes, enhancing product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering, manufacturing processes, and automation systems, with a focus on implementing innovative solutions that increase efficiency and reduce waste. As a Process Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, analyze, and refine manufacturing workflows, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include designing and modifying manufacturing processes, troubleshooting complex engineering issues, and leading projects that improve operational performance. You will utilize advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to develop schematics and tooling designs. Your expertise in robotics programming, CNC machining, industrial automation, and process optimization will be essential in maintaining high standards of productivity and quality. Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes utilizing lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to maximize efficiency and quality. Lead root cause analysis investigations for process deviations or defects, implementing effective corrective actions. Design detailed schematics and layouts using CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for tooling, fixtures, and automation systems. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics systems, CNC machines, and vision inspection systems to ensure seamless operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality assurance, and production to optimize workflows. Conduct engineering data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Manage project scheduling from conception through implementation while maintaining compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Support process validation activities including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications and tooling validation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean management practices to enhance manufacturing throughput. Provide technical leadership in welding, assembly line setup, tooling design, and industrial automation projects. Maintain detailed documentation of schematics, process flows, troubleshooting procedures, and project reports. Experience Proven experience in practicing industrial or manufacturing engineering roles within a factory or production environment. Demonstrated expertise in process engineering with a focus on plastics injection molding or similar manufacturing processes. Strong background in project management within a manufacturing setting with familiarity in project scheduling tools. Extensive knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematic design is essential. Hands-on experience programming PLCs, robotics (including robot programming), CNC machines (including CNC programming), vision inspection systems, and industrial automation equipment. Familiarity with quality improvement programs such as Six Sigma manufacturing practices; certification is preferred. Experience leading cross-functional teams on process improvement projects utilizing lean management techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling design, welding processes, assembly lines, industrial equipment maintenance. Ability to perform engineering troubleshooting efficiently across various systems including mechanical assemblies and automated machinery. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards for quality management systems within manufacturing environments. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making; proficiency in using CAD software for schematics creation. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting technical solutions effectively.
