Job Description

Marvin is seeking a Controls Team Lead to oversee design, implementation, and support of industrial control systems for our premium window and door manufacturing operations. In this hands-on role, you'll lead a small team of controls technicians and engineers, managing PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient production. You'll coordinate automation projects, standardize control architectures, support continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of controls technicians and engineers in a manufacturing environment Design, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and related automation systems Troubleshoot control system issues to ensure uptime and product quality Plan and execute controls and automation projects, upgrades, and integrations Develop and standardize control system architectures, documentation, and best practices Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations to support production needs Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and regulatory standards Support continuous improvement, data collection, and process optimization initiatives Required Skills Industrial controls engineering PLC programming
