This is not a position for someone who wants to sit behind a computer all day. We need someone who will work directly with production, purchasing, engineering, and our assembly teams to answer a simple question every day: What do we need to do to keep machines moving through the shop efficiently and on schedule? What You'll Be Doing Developing and maintaining production schedules and build plans Planning work several weeks ahead so labor, parts, drawings, and resources are ready Helping establish daily and weekly production priorities Tracking machines and work-in-process through production Identifying bottlenecks before they become emergencies Coordinating parts readiness with purchasing and inventory Working with engineering to correct drawings, BOMs, and production issues Improving manufacturing processes, workflow, and shop organization Developing better assembly sequences, work instructions, fixtures, and tooling Reviewing labor hours and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Helping balance manpower and workload throughout production Troubleshooting problems directly with the people building the equipment Improving ERP/MRP information and making sure the system reflects what is actually happening on the floor Helping standardize processes as Trebro increases production You will spend time at a computer planning and analyzing production — but you will also spend significant time on the shop floor understanding what is actually happening. The Person We're Looking For We want someone who is: Highly organized Self-motivated and driven Mechanically minded Comfortable making decisions and setting priorities Strong at planning several steps ahead Detail-oriented without getting buried in insignificant details Comfortable working directly with welders, assemblers, electricians, engineers, and purchasing Curious enough to ask why Persistent enough to actually fix the problem Willing to challenge inefficient processes Able to communicate clearly and respectfully Comfortable taking ownership instead of waiting for instructions Focused on results rather than excuses We especially value someone who can look at a production problem and think: Why are we doing it this way? What is holding us up? How can we make this easier to build? What needs to happen today so we aren't fighting this problem three weeks from now? Experience Experience in any combination of the following would be valuable: Manufacturing engineering Production engineering Mechanical engineering Industrial engineering Production planning or scheduling Agricultural or heavy equipment Mechanical assembly Fabrication and welding Hydraulics and electrical systems Lean manufacturing or process improvement ERP/MRP systems CAD and mechanical drawings An engineering degree is valuable, but not necessarily required for an exceptional candidate with strong manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and demonstrated ability to improve production. Agricultural equipment or machinery experience is a strong plus. Benefits & Opportunity Trebro offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Healthcare coverage for you and your family Retirement plan with company match Paid vacation Paid sick leave PTO This position has significant opportunity to grow in responsibility as Trebro expands production. We are looking for someone who wants to become one of the people the shop depends on — the person who knows what's being built, what's coming next, what's holding us up, and what needs to happen to keep production moving. If you enjoy machines, manufacturing, organization, problem-solving, and making complicated operations run better, we'd like to hear from you. Trebro Manufacturing —
