Quality Manager

• 110,000 annually INFINITEK, a specialist technical recruitment consultancy, is recruiting a Quality Manager on behalf of an established industrial technology manufacturer.

This hands-on position offers responsibility for maintaining and improving quality practices across internal operations, suppliers and contract manufacturers. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Service to reduce defects, resolve customer issues and prevent repeat failures. The role suits a manufacturing quality professional who can apply

principles to everyday processes and deliver measurable improvements. The focus is on building a practical, consistent quality management system; formal ISO certification is not currently being pursued. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve the quality management system, including document control, quality records, traceability, calibration and training. Manage nonconformances, containment, root-cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), verifying that actions are effective. Work with Engineering to maintain incoming, in-process and final inspection, testing and product release procedures. Investigate customer complaints and coordinate actions to prevent recurring issues. Monitor defects, first-pass yield, supplier performance and corrective-action closure to identify improvement priorities. Work directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve quality issues, manage supplier corrective action requests and verify completion. Support supplier and manufacturing changes by establishing clear quality requirements. Coordinate quality team priorities, provide hands-on coaching and train colleagues in quality procedures. Experience Required At least five years of hands-on quality experience in manufacturing. Experience working within an ISO-based quality system and applying

principles. A record of using root-cause analysis and process improvement to reduce defects, complaints or repeat failures. Working knowledge of inspection and test controls, NCR/CAPA, document control, calibration and traceability. Experience resolving nonconformances with suppliers or contract manufacturers. The ability to document processes, communicate clear expectations, train others and follow corrective actions through to completion. Experience with electromechanical products, electronics, instrumentation or industrial equipment would be particularly relevant. Desirable Experience

ISO 9001

Internal Auditor, ASQ CQE/CQA or Lean Six Sigma training. Improving quality systems where documentation or processes need strengthening. Supplier audits, first-article inspection, SCAR processes or contract manufacturing transitions. Exposure to ATEX, IECEx, FM, UL, CSA, ISO 17025 or similar requirements. Experience using ERP, QMS, business intelligence or document-control systems. Package Annual salary of $90,000
