About the Role Join our team as a Production Process Engineer, where you will drive operational excellence by optimizing machining workflows, enhancing product quality, and implementing advanced automation solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise to bridge the gap between complex engineering designs and efficient shop-floor execution, ensuring our facility maintains a competitive edge through continuous improvement. Responsibilities Design and optimize CNC programs for lathes and mills using advanced CAD/CAM software to maximize throughput. Establish precise time standards and manufacturing methods to improve overall facility utilization and cost-efficiency. Perform detailed cost analysis by comparing actual labor and material expenditures against initial project estimates. Develop accurate manufacturing cost estimates based on customer RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational malfunctions, providing hands-on support for new machine setups and tooling procedures. Create and maintain essential technical documentation, including process travelers, setup sheets, and comprehensive R&D logs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the implementation of new technologies and staff training programs. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree or higher in an engineering or technical field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a precision machining environment. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming. Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills. Effective oral communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Preferred Skills Experience with time study analysis and lean manufacturing principles. Background in developing user-oriented solutions for complex data needs. Proven ability to mentor junior staff or provide technical guidance on machining procedures.
