Job Title Packaging Engineering IJob Overview This role supports the design, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions for new and existing products under guidance from senior engineers. This role contributes to projects that ensure product protection, quality, cost effectiveness, and sustainability. The position provides hands-on learning opportunities in manufacturing environments, supporting plant trials, start-ups, and issue resolution while gaining exposure to packaging equipment and produciton processes. The engineer assists with material evaluation, performance testing, specification development, and documentation.

The role works cross-functionally with commercial partners, operations, maintenance, eqipment engineering, procurement, and suppliers to ensure packaging solutions align with manfacturing capabilities, regulatory requirements, and business needs.

Accountabilities 1. Support Packaging Design The role supports the design and development of packaging solutions under guidance from senior engineers. It applies foundational engineering knowledge to contribute to projects. This builds technical capability. 2. Assist with Material Evaluation The role assists with evaluation of packaging materials based on product requirements and sustainability considerations. It gathers data and supports analysis. This develops material knowledge. 3. Execute Assigned Tasks The role executes assigned packaging engineering tasks following established procedures and methods. It ensures accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. This supports project progress. 4. Document Technical Work The role documents technical work and maintains records as directed. It ensures information is accurate and accessible. This supports knowledge management. 5. Learn and Develop Skills The role actively learns packaging engineering skills through hands-on experience and training. It seeks feedback and applies guidance to improve. This develops professional expertise.
