Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Engineer to support reliable, safe operation of electrical systems across our manufacturing facilities. In this role, you'll design, troubleshoot, and optimize power distribution, motors, drives, and controls for cement and aggregate production equipment. You'll lead root-cause analysis, support maintenance teams, and implement preventive and predictive strategies to reduce downtime. Collaborating closely with operations, you'll champion electrical safety, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to sustainable, high-performance manufacturing and critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Design, maintain, and improve plant electrical power distribution, motors, drives, and control systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve reliability Develop and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical assets Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and promote a strong safety culture Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects and process improvements Document electrical designs, updates, and standards using CAD and plant documentation systems Support commissioning and startup of new or upgraded electrical and control systems Required Skills Electrical system design PLC programming and troubleshooting Motor controls and VFDs Industrial power distribution Auto CAD or similar CAD tools Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Preventive and predictive maintenance planning Instrumentation and controls Root cause analysis Safety and
