Job Description

The Summer Engineering Intern will participate in a 10-12 week internship focused on improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to identify process improvements in the Terry Towel and Sheeting departments while supporting plant-wide projects that enhance productivity, automation, and overall operational performance.

Responsibilities Include:

Develop automated systems related to current activities that are performed manually in the plant. Implement Maintenance WO system and provide training to machine operators and maintenance department. Improve / streamline current method of production tracking reports. Participate in various meetings and training to support the plant. Additional responsibilities assigned as needed. Assist in LEAN events that are designed to drive continuous process improvements throughout the plant.

Qualifications Include:
Requirements :

•1-3 years of completed coursework in an accredited Engineering Program

•Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite skills (primarily Excel)

Preferred :
