The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience supporting FUE hair-transplant procedures and demonstrate excellent graft-handling technique, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities Sort and organize extracted follicular-unit grafts Accurately count and document grafts throughout the procedure Examine and classify grafts according to the number of hairs Trim and prepare grafts for implantation Maintain proper graft hydration, temperature, and organization Load implanter pens and/or prepare grafts for forceps placement Place grafts carefully while following the provider's direction, recipient-site pattern, angle, depth, and distribution Minimize graft trauma and maintain graft integrity Assist with procedure-room setup, instrument preparation, and breakdown Follow sterile technique, infection-control standards, and clinic safety protocols Communicate graft counts and procedural updates clearly with the clinical team Assist with patient preparation and intraoperative care as needed Required Qualifications Prior hands-on experience as a hair-transplant technician Strong experience in graft sorting, counting, trimming, preparation, and placement Experience with FUE hair-transplant procedures Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small, delicate grafts Ability to maintain accuracy during long procedures Strong understanding of graft preservation and safe handling Reliable, professional, organized, and comfortable working as part of a clinical team Strict respect for patient privacy and confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Experience loading implanter pens Experience with both forceps and implanter placement techniques Experience assisting with scalp, beard, and eyebrow procedures Familiarity with donor harvesting and post-procedure patient care Bilingual abilities are a plus Schedule and Compensation Position may be available on a part-time, per-diem, or procedure-based basis Compensation is competitive and based on experience and demonstrated technical ability Candidates may be asked to participate in a practical skills assessment before hire To Apply Please submit your résumé along with a brief description of your hair-transplant experience, including: Number of years working in hair restoration Approximate number of procedures completed Experience with FUE graft preparation and placement Experience with forceps placement and/or implanter pens Current availability We are looking for a dependable and highly skilled technician who takes pride in protecting graft quality and helping deliver natural-looking patient results.
