SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Read and interpret blueprints, charts, and tables. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges, and other measuring devices.
  • Interpret Engineering instructions/requirements.
  • Operate (CMM) Coordinate Measuring Machine.
  • Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Entry-level position for Mechanical Engineering student
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum or have completed at least 2 years of studies in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.
  • Able to read and interpret GD&T
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, and highly organized.
  • Apply engineering knowledge and quality principles to resolve technical problems.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
20/20 Correctible Vision Lift 50+ lbs.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
