SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Read and interpret blueprints, charts, and tables. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges, and other measuring devices.
- Interpret Engineering instructions/requirements.
- Operate (CMM) Coordinate Measuring Machine.
- Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.

All departmentsEXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Entry-level position for Mechanical Engineering student
- Applicant must be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum or have completed at least 2 years of studies in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.
- Able to read and interpret GD&T
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, and highly organized.
- Apply engineering knowledge and quality principles to resolve technical problems.
