Job Description Duties and Responsibilities/Specific Task:
Prepare production plans or layouts working from design specifications, detail drawings and preliminary concept from sales/customer information. Help oversee specific projects from start to end. Generate standard and basic project designs through CAD drafting. Makes basic calculations using engineering formulas and skills. Maintain, update and revise CAD designs for plans on file. Assist sales with technical information and questions as needed. Assist with sales and engineering with specific technical documentation as needed. Assist in measuring and document in house products/equipment relating to sales, engineering and Manufacturing, as needed: Assist in final QC of product before shipping, as needed. Review all plans for production prior to manufacturing. Assist in scheduling workload for production with related duties, as needed. Create scale templates using customer technical specifications/drawings, as needed.
Required Skills:
Interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills. Position requires computer literacy involving computer printers and related software, writing documents, drawings, sketching and creating standard production plans. Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills with organizational abilities are required. Working knowledge of CAD or other comparable software including but not limited to AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or Creo.
Education and Experience:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 2 to 5 years of work-related experience is required. Must be experienced using the most resent suite of AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Experience in Creo is a plus.

Pay:
$52,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
