$72,500 - $85,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and innovative Permanent Controls Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Ceramic Tile Manufacturing, Machine Maintenance, and Process Control. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to apply their skills to enhance our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and systems. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement control systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance of our manufacturing processes. Perform regular machine maintenance to ensure optimal functioning, identify any technical issues and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime. Apply knowledge of Ceramic Tile Manufacturing to improve our production processes and meet our quality standards. Utilize SCADA systems for effective industrial control and process optimization. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to integrate new systems and technologies into our existing operations. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process control diagrams, system layouts, and operational manuals. Provide training and technical support to production staff, ensuring they understand and can effectively use our control systems. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

Experience with Ceramic Tile Manufacturing would be a huge plus, but is not a hard requirement. We are willing to train someone who already has a PLC background in the specifics of our machines and process! Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a role involving PLC Programming and Machine Maintenance for manufacturing lines. Proficiency in SCADA systems and a deep understanding of Industrial Control. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
