Work on various real-world manufacturing and engineering projects and gain shop floor experience in precision manufacturing. Gain knowledge about the precision parts production process including components, bearings, and machinery. Diverse training will include participation in Sales, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Management and Production. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. What You'll Do In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and support the manufacturing process from estimating to final product Work with multiple department heads on various process improvements. This candidate will work with, and for, all departments from 3-6 months to receive a solid working knowledge of all facets of precision manufacturing. Attend customer calls and work with the applications engineers and sales engineers as a part of their duties. Help in creating and implementing cost and quality improvements and designs for product flow/cost improvements. Standing or sitting for long periods of time and lifting up to 50lbs Safety for self and others is a priority for the individual Work in a team environment
