•No Relocation Services Offered We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across production lines. Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques, leveraging your knowledge of industrial automation, process engineering, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate our manufacturing capabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for various products, focusing on plastics injection molding, assembly lines, and industrial equipment. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to create schematics, layouts, and detailed process documentation. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems to enhance production efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies or defects and implement effective corrective actions using Six Sigma methodologies. Lead process improvement initiatives employing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste and increase productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, quality assurance, maintenance, and production staff to ensure seamless process integration. Manage project scheduling for process upgrades or new line installations while maintaining compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Oversee the setup and operation of vision inspection systems and robotic equipment for assembly and quality control purposes. Analyze engineering data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend enhancements to manufacturing workflows. Provide technical leadership in factory environments by guiding troubleshooting efforts related to welding, automation systems, or industrial equipment failures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory setting with hands-on assembly line experience. Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in process engineering concepts such as lean management, continuous improvement programs, and industrial automation systems. Skilled in programming robot systems and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience with plastics injection molding processes and vision inspection systems is highly desirable. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while adhering to schedules. Strong analytical skills for engineering data analysis and root cause investigations using Six Sigma tools. Effective team leadership abilities with a focus on cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence. Knowledge of GD&T standards for precise engineering communication; familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus. $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
