Job Description

Automation & Controls Engineer | Indiana | Manufacturing Automation We're partnering with a leading manufacturing company looking to add an experienced Controls Engineer to its Engineering & Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving automated systems, and taking ownership of automation projects from concept through implementation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Troubleshooting and resolving complex automation and controls issues PLC programming using Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal Developing control logic and electrical control schematics
HMI & SCADA
programming and integration (WinCC / WinCC Flexible / TIA) Supporting and improving automated manufacturing equipment Designing and modifying control systems and electrical drawings in AutoCAD Working with industrial networks including Profinet, Profibus, and Industrial Ethernet Supporting maintenance teams with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field 3+ years of hands-on automation experience within manufacturing or a system integrator environment Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Knowledge of drives, motor controls, pneumatics, and industrial automation systems Strong problem-solving and project management skills Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and maintenance teams Why Consider This Opportunity? Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
