Job Description This Automation Engineer will be responsible for: Supporting installation and commissioning of new automation equipment and process controls. Troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and electrical systems to improve uptime. Collaborating with maintenance, operations, contractors, and vendors during project execution. Leading automation and electrical improvement projects across manufacturing operations. Participating in process safety initiatives, hazard reviews, and compliance activities. Optimizing production processes, equipment reliability, and operational performance. The Successful Applicant A Successful Automation Engineer will have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of automation experience within industrial or process manufacturing. Experience with PLC programming and industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk, or Ignition systems. Experience implementing automation equipment in live manufacturing environments Familiarity with process safety management and hazardous manufacturing operations.
