26-08938 Apply Save job Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator Position Overview We are seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to support Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to Lean principles, manufacturing processes, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while helping promote a culture of continuous improvement. The CI Coordinator will support site-wide continuous improvement efforts, including action items resulting from Kaizen events, shop-floor productivity initiatives, Lean Manufacturing implementation, basic problem-solving activities, and the collection and analysis of inspection data to develop statistical process control charts. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Continuous Improvement, Operations, and Quality teams. Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools and process improvements. Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data. Develop and maintain statistical process control charts. Support and reinforce training initiatives following Kaizen events. Track and follow up on continuous improvement action items. Assist with process changes and the implementation of new technologies. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, capacity, and efficiency. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, completed or currently in progress at an accredited institution. Experience in Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-volume, discrete manufacturing, consumer products, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries. Technical Skills Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with Six Sigma tools and statistical analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity analysis. Familiarity with AutoCAD or facility layout software preferred. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
