JOB SUMMARY

As part of a matrix organization within the Global Engineering team, responsible for delivery of cross category engineering and technology projects, to include work on elaboration, implementation and execution of technical projects (including product projects when required). Offer ongoing Engineering support to factories within the GSC manufacturing footprint with special emphasis on Americas region. Using Engineering best practice to transfer product ideation to validated concepts, industrialize & drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality, supporting GSC's manufacturing footprint and leveraging learnings and best practice from site to site

WHAT YOU WILL DO

(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company) Managing of engineering projects from concept to installation and handover. This includes client and supplier liaison, specification generation and approval, budget control, effective time management, etc Planning and coordination of projects across geographically diverse IB locations. This may include coordination and management of contractors as well as factory-based resources Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. Confirms product performance by designing and authoring test protocols and execution of testing. Support with global initiatives such as Spare parts mgmt., machine obsolescence mgmt., ESG, etc. Identify areas of opportunity across the GSC manufacturing footprint, prepare proposals and manage the execution/delivery of those projects when approved Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions. Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions. Work with and support manufacturing plant projects and needs. Coordinate qualification/validation testing. Maintains project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data. Lead the development and implementation of new equipment to improve the manufacturing efficiency Awareness of evolving legislation relevant to machinery installations and upgrades, in order to supply solutions in line with legal requirements Awareness of supplier developments and strategy to drive Global Engineering standards Support with IB business processes such as Capital planning and forecast Provide input into best practice process development Involvement with Ops Engineering Global Task force Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations. Ensure projects adherence to regulatory compliances, including Group and FDA. Awareness of evolving legislation relevant to machinery installations and upgrades, in order to supply solutions in line with legal requirements Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. Awareness of supplier developments and engineering and business strategies to drive Global Engineering standards Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years related work experience. Must be 21 years of age or older Related work experience to include: A minimum of 2 years engineering experience in an FMCG environment Demonstrated project management skills and delivery of complex, high value projects

Knowledge of:

Technical requirements gathering and business analysis Manufacturing methods and procedures Production and packaging operations Design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Practical application of engineering science and technology Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams Evolving legislation relevant to machinery installations and upgrades, to supply solutions in line with legal requirements Supplier developments and strategy Skilled in: Stakeholder management and engagement Project management Process improvement Negotiation and persuasion Operations maintenance Verbal and written communication Attention to detail Problem/situation analysis Effective time and task management Multitasking capabilities Flexibility and adaptability Ability to: Communicate to a broad and diverse audience Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Maintain effective working relationships Demonstrate critical thinking Work with diverse populations and varying education levels Receive and communicate information orally and in writing Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly Work with business partners in different time zones Travel domestically & internationally as the role requires; this could involve extended periods away from home base Communicate in Spanish and/or other languages. Read electrical and pneumatic drawings. Knowledge in PLC programming (Siemens, Allan Bradley, Beckhoff), servo motors, safety circuits appreciated.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Related experience to include: Working within a regulated industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals. Collaborating with international suppliers Problem solving, planning, and execution within a global manufacturing setting.

Licenses/Certifications:

PMI

PMP Certification Knowledge of:

OSHE and machinery safety knowledge and experience in UL, CE regulations and PUWER risk analysis. Training certification is a plus (CSME). Manufacturing process analysis (e.g., capacity, OEE calculations). Product design/implementation. Regulatory submissions. GMP Deep understanding of the pFMEA process and how to generate manufacturing control plans. Generation of validation master plans and manufacturing control plans. Large manufacturing facilities and associated requirements. Building maintenance programs. Business acumen. AUTOCAD and/or similar drawing software. Work Environment and Physical Demand Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs. Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
