Job Description

Responsibilities Include :
Production Support:
  • Monitor production activities and report issues, delays, or bottlenecks.
  • Support inventory checks, material movement, and work-in-process tracking.
  • Help ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Assist in training new operators with basic procedures and documentation.
Engineering Support:
  • Support the Production Manager with data collection, time studies, and process observations.
  • Assist in updating and main work instructions, SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Participate in equipment setup, process trials and basic troubleshooting under guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts such as 5S, Lean projects and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with quality check, defect tracking and corrective action follow-up.
Safety Support:
  • Support the Safety in maintaining compliance with company safety policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in conducting safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Assist in tracking and documenting safety incidents, near-misses and corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety records, training logs and required documentation.
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks and onboarding safety orientation for new employees.
  • Support implementation of safety improvement initiatives, PPE compliance and 5S activities.
Administration Support:
  • Develop, maintain logs, reports and production metrics (KPIs).
  • Coordinate communication between engineering, production, quality and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare documentation, charts and presentation as needed.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions and project activities.
  • Promotes and encourages safety in all aspects of the job Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates (A.S.) or bachelor's degree (B.S.) in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing environments, equipment and processes.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to workhands-on on the production floor.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into increased responsibility.
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawing or schematics.
Basic mechanical or technical aptitude. This position offers competitive compensation based on experience.
