Job Description
Metal Fabrication Manufacturer is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer. Successful candidate will have a background in sheet metal fabrication that has the ability to utilize design engineering and off-line programming skills to maximize productivity and cost efficiency. Candidates will have knowledge in the following: 1. AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create sheet metal flat patterns. 2. Bill of Materials 3. Routings 4. Experience with MRP Responsibilities include 1. Design Engineering -- writing off-line programs for the scheduling, testing and management of work on turrets, brake presses, welding robots and laser cutters. 2. Designing fixtures and tooling and is able to program robotic welders. 3. Prototyping -- creating drawings to actualize customer concepts; translate customer drawings to manufacturing layouts.
