Job Description
Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Engineer to support reliable, safe operation of manufacturing plants. You'll design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical power, control, and automation systems for cement and aggregate production. Responsibilities include maintaining PLC/HMI systems, diagnosing equipment issues, managing small capital projects, and improving energy efficiency. You'll partner closely with operations, maintenance, and safety teams in a hands-on, on-site environment that emphasizes integrity, collaboration, sustainability, and continuous technical and leadership growth. Responsibilities Design, maintain, and improve plant electrical power and control systems Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis Program, maintain, and optimize PLC, HMI, and automation systems Support preventive and predictive electrical maintenance activities Lead or support small capital and reliability improvement projects Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve uptime and efficiency Document electrical systems, updates, and modifications Required Skills Electrical design PLC programming
