Advanced knowledge of turning operations, tooling, speeds and feeds, work holding, and process development. Proven ability to program CNC lathes from engineering drawings and solid models. Experience with CAD/CAM software and manual G-code programming. Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement. Experience troubleshooting difficult machining and production problems. Ability to independently manage projects from concept through production. Strong communication, documentation, and team leadership skills. Experience with Swiss-style, multi-axis, dual-spindle, or live-tool lathes is highly desirable. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement methods is preferred. Apply Qualified candidates should submit a resume highlighting their CNC lathe programming experience, machine and control expertise, CAD/CAM proficiency, and examples of measurable process improvements.
